Subject: When the World Feels Heavy, Give Yourself Permission to Feel
Hey Fab Fam,
I want us to take a moment to pause and acknowledge the world we’re living in right now.
Whether you’re someone who follows every headline or someone who protects their peace by turning off the news—as I’ve done many times when it becomes too much—I want to give you space to pause and reflect on how you’re feeling.
I’m not here to debate politics or to go on a rant, that happens in private. I’m just saying…I feel it. And maybe you do too. That strange, heavy ache in your chest. That quiet, uneasy pulse beneath the surface—like something you’re holding too tightly, even though it’s begging to be released.
We live in a society that expects us to carry on like nothing happening out there affects us personally. We’re supposed to clock in to work, cook dinner, go to yoga, and make small talk—as if we live in a bubble. But pretending everything is fine all the time?
It’s not good for the soul.
So let me say this to you, woman to woman: If you’re feeling anxious, angry, helpless, or just plain tired—you’re not alone. If you’ve wanted to curl up in a ball or cried in the shower—I get it. This isn’t about being "too sensitive." It’s about being human.
Give yourself space to feel. Acknowledge the feeling. Call a friend. Journal it out. Sit quietly with your spirit. But don’t bottle it up. Don’t brush it off.
There is nothing "normal" about what’s going on.
And pretending not to feel it isn’t strength—it’s survival mode.
But midlife is the chapter where we get to do more than just survive.
So take a deep breath, Fab Fam.
We don’t have to panic—but we also don’t have to go numb.
We can still show up for our lives. Just let’s do it with open eyes, grounded hearts, and full awareness of what’s going on around us.

How is your mental health lately?
💛 Reminder: If you’re feeling overwhelmed or like things are just too much—don’t keep it inside. Talk to someone you trust. A friend, a therapist, a support line. You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. Your mental health matters. You matter.
Mindset Reset
You are allowed to not be okay and still be powerful.
There’s this myth that says we must always be composed and calm to be taken seriously—or worse, to seem “mature.” It’s just the grown-up version of “big girls don’t cry.”
But we do cry. And we should.
Midlife teaches us that power doesn’t come from pretending.
It comes from honoring our emotions, not hiding them.
It comes from showing up in truth, not perfection.
And it comes from giving ourselves the grace to be real—messy, strong, and everything in between.
✨ This week, try this affirmation:
“I honor my feelings without shame. They are not weakness—they are wisdom.”

Olay Retinol Face Moisturizer, 24 MAX Anti-Aging Night Cream for Women
If you’ve been curious about retinol but scared it’ll leave your skin angry and peeling—this one’s a solid place to start. As we age, our skin cell turnover slows down and collagen naturally decreases. Retinol helps bring some of that bounce and brightness back. It’s one of the first things dermatologists recommend for aging skin.Nutrafol Women’s Balance Hair Growth Supplements

And for a lot of us over 50, it’s got everything to do with hormones, stress, and just... life.I came across this supplement called Nutrafol Women’s Balance and it’s specifically made for women going through perimenopause, menopause, or postmenopause.Spa Gift Baskets for Women
Now this isn’t specifically for over 50, but I just thought it was cute. It’s packed with bath bombs, lotions, and all the little luxuries for an at-home escape, plus it comes in a super cute reusable tote with wooden handles.Perfect as a gift... even if it’s for you.
