Hey Fab Fam,

Life is hard, and then you die. I know you’ve heard this quote before. I’ve been through some tough times, so you wouldn’t hear me disagree, but let’s not forget that there is a life of possibilities in between. Many of us focus so intently on the negative that we overlook the joys of life.

We have a choice. We get to choose what we feed our energy to. If we keep staring at what’s wrong, it grows bigger and heavier. But when we shift our gaze toward the good, toward the things that make us smile, toward the dreams still alive in our hearts, those are the things that expand.

It’s not magic, it’s mindset. But it takes practice. I’m still learning, too. After years of depression, my go-to mindset is not optimism. Every morning, I ask myself: What am I going to give my attention to today? Because I know the voice in my head and the pictures in my mind are shaping my reality.

If you look for the negatives, you’ll find them. If you look for the positives, you’ll find those too. Energy flows where your attention goes. So, be intentional. Redirect when needed. And don’t let life’s noise pull you off the path to the woman you want to become.

This isn’t just positive thinking; it’s how we tell the universe, This is what matters to me. The universe will listen.

So today, let’s choose to look for the sunshine. Let’s choose gratitude over despair, hope over fear, and love over doubt. Because we’ve come too far to let the wrong things take up space in our minds.
